I worked with Sue at Broadlawns and Altoona Nursing & Rehab. We often laughed about what we'd do when we retired. We had a great work relationship and quickly became friends. I fondly think of my friend today with respect for who she was as a person & her clinical knowledge as a professional nurse. You will be missed. Blessings to her family during this difficult time.

Been thinking of Sue a lot since her passing. I can honestly say I don't remember her saying a bad word about anyone. She always made me laugh and never complained. She was not only my cousin, she was my friend. I was lucky to have had her in my life.

We will be having a Celebration of Life event in Sues honor at the Norwoodville Community Center at 3077 NE 46th Ave (Broadway) in NE Des Moines on Sunday, June 26th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. This location is very close to Sues house if that helps and the building sits on the south side of the street. We will have beverages and desserts and share our favorite memories of Sue that afternoon.
