To Christina and Family:
This is such a sad time, but also a time when we can look back on our memories of Robert and honestly say, Well done My good and faithful servant. Matt 25:21
My prayers are with all of you at this time.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. John 14:3

Robert passed away as one of the richest men I knew... When we pass away, what's the most important thing? Not money, not possessions, but LOVE. I believe that's Robert's wealth is best measured by the massive amount of love that he had in his heart and how freely he shared that love with those around him. His wife's heart was overflowing with his love for her until the day he died and he made sure she knew love in its truest form. He gave his heart to the homeless community and those still in prison. He made sure that they knew that he loved them and God loved them, that change was possible and that hope was still alive. He shared the musings of his heart with the world through his passion for the written word and made sure that his inner thoughts and feelings would be kept forever by publishing them. And he loved his fur babies. They knew what was happening all along and brought him comfort when his lovely wife just needed to rest. I never got to meet you in person Robert, but your wife and I are good friends. Through her, and her immense love and pride for who you were and what you meant to her, I came to know you as well. God speed on the Wings of Eagles Robert and we'll meet you at the pearly gates one day!

My deepest condolences to Roberts family and friends. He and I became friends many years ago. We were friends online and then met personally face to face in Perkins Restaurant. I remember it like it was yesterday. He brought me a flower and a copy of his poems. He was a good friend, and I shall never forget his kind nature. He did much for the Glory of God. His wife and Robert were shopping in HyVee the last time that I saw him. A great man is now among God's angels.
