Growing up Marky loved riding his bicycle and jumping ramps that his Dad made for him. He traveled with his mother, father and sister to every state by motorcycle and sidecar. Marky spent a lot of time with his cousin Brian, they were inseparable. He loved racing go-carts, ATV's and riding his dirt bike. He had a green thunderbird growing up, he loved that car.
As an adult, Marky loved going boating and tubing with his family. In 2004, he took a trip with his family to Hawaii, where he got his first tattoo. Marky became an uncle to a nephew in 2006, a nephew in 2009 and a niece in 2010.
Marky had been with his significant other, Teresa for the last 8 1\2 years. On August 4, 2009 he became a father to a daughter, Kaylee. Marky and his family would take yearly spring break vacations to Wyoming to see his Dad and go snowmobiling. He enjoyed going shopping with his Mom and finding the best deals. He was a stay at home dad and caregiver. Marky would take Kaylee to McDonald's and they would have breakfast on her late start days. They would also go to the park every chance they could. Kaylee was Marky's world and he loved her very much.
Marky was a caring, passionate, fun loving person. He was willing to give the shirt off his back if he knew it would help someone. His smile and laughter was contagious. He could light up a room with his humor. Marky loved going to Saylorville Lake, it was peaceful for him. He loved music, cheese and peanut butter crackers and Diet Mountain Dew.

Mark was always so polite and positive. He always wore a smile and was a good friend to our son Dan. Mark was a kind soul. I was friends with him on FB and it was very clear how much he loved his daughter. Blessings to all of Mark's family and may he rest in peace.

Mark,
I am so sorry for your loss. I am also sorry I can't attend the service. Unfortunately my job does not give time off for cousins and I am scheduled to work. I wish we were a closer family and that I had met Marky as an adult. Love and Hugs,
Your cousin,
Terry and Garry Norman

I hadn't seen Mark in some time but it was no more than a week ago that I was telling my girlfriend a story about him and the gallon challenge he performed at work. Brought a huge smile to my face. He'll be remembered. Condolences to the family.
