Pauline Prall

Pauline E. Prall, 87, died May 28th 2016 in hospice care in Des Moines, Iowa. She was a 1946 graduate of Lincoln High School and she had a long career with AT&T before retiring in 1988. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ and was a member of Altoona Regular Baptist Church where she was actively involved over the past five decades, playing the organ for many years.
Mrs. Prall is survived by three children, Rebecca Schaeffer of Skiatook, OK, Dan Prall of Mitchellville, IA, and Tom Prall of Cary, NC and five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is further survived by her brother, Lawrence Seid; her sister, Norma Reed; multiple nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Prall; her daughter, Beth Ann Prall; her sister, Lois Hunter and her half-brother, G. Wayne Willett.
The family will greet friends from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th St. SW. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 2, 2016 at the Altoona Regular Baptist Church, 803 3rd Ave. SW with burial to follow at Avon Cemetery.

I remember all those years at Altoona and Pauline playing the organ. I would see her at the store and she was such an inspiration to me. Pauline, you will be missed by many. One day, we will all be with our Lord and what a day of rejoicing that will be.

How I loved this woman and Chuck too. We would bring Amy, our youngest, and her friend, Marcy, to visit the goats on the farm. We even bought the goat's milk. What a sweet couple. Now, interestingly, Amy and her husband raise goats on their little farm in southern Missouri.
Sorry for your loss, but celebrating their Christian lives too.
