Norman Ingle, 78, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 12, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born June 26, 1937 in Colfax, Iowa.
Norman and his wife owned and operated Ingle Hauling Service for 35 years. He enjoyed coaching and playing softball, shooting pool, playing cribbage, and fishing. Norman was a collector of Old Chevy’s and John Deere Tractors. Above all, he treasured time spent with his family and friends.
Norman leaves behind his loving children, Debbie (Kevin) Smith, Rhonda Ingle, Bud (Val) Ingle, Chuck Ingle, Brenda (Patty) Ingle, and Craig (Tracy) Thompson; 12 grandchildren, Aubrey (Gabe) Thaman, Adria Smith, Alexis Smith, Chad (Jenna) Ingle, Cory Ingle, Cole (Melissa) Ingle, Cade Ingle, Caitlin Ingle, Kayci (Ben) Parish, Kristen Ingle, Kody Ingle, and Dray (Melissa) Grantham; 10 great-grandchildren, Mataya, Josiah, Brianna, Braylon, Brooklin, Easton, Callaway, Jerzi, Delana, and Daxson; and sisters, Velma Blake and Juanita Watts.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, Janice; parents, Goldie and Osie Ingle; sister, Doris Gaulke; and brother, Max Ingle.
Visitation will be Sunday, May 15, 2016 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Rising Sun Church of Christ, 6390 NE Rising Sun Dr. in Pleasant Hill. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 16th at the church with burial to follow at Powers-Warren Cemetery
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Norman.

Debbie, Rhonda, Bud, Chuck, Brenda and families, we were so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. He was a great man! I loved listening to your mom and dad sing. He always had a smile. He is with your mom now and they are together singing !

My heart goes out to all of Uncle Norman's family. He was always a positive and happy person to be around. He always took an interest in those around him. Thinking of all of you and lifting you up in prayer.

I loved spending time with my Uncle Norman; it was always fun to be around him. I think I got my first driving lesson from him when I was about four years old, sitting on his lap and "steering " the car for him.
