Richard Hesseltine

Richard Hesseltine died Monday, November 6th 2007 at Fleur Heights Care Center in Des Moines. His body has been donated to Des Moines University and no services are planned.
Richard was born in Washington County, Iowa to Merle and Charolette Owen in 1918. He was a farmer for most of his life before moving to Des Moines in 1973. He worked for American Republic Insurance and retired from the State of Iowa in 1981.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; Son’s Phil, Allan and Carl; Step-son, Randy Barton; Step-daughter, Vicki Withers; Brother Delbert; 11 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.
Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
