Patricia Louise Hill

Patricia Louise Hill, 75, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

Pat was born November 20, 1940 in Des Moines, Iowa to Wendell and Pauline (Winget) Leach. She enjoyed gardening and searching for bargains at thrift stores and garage sales. She took pleasure in the simple things in life. She loved her family and her grandchildren with all her heart. Pat was a selfless, giving person who spent her life taking care of others. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She is survived by her sons, Virgil (Lori), Robert, and Joe (Connie); grandchildren, Becca, Dillon, Nicole, Ashley, Zach, C.J., Alexzandria, Makayla, and Joey; siblings, Judy and Wayne; as well as many nieces, nephews, other extended family, and friends.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; parents, Wendell and Pauline; and her brothers, Butch and Mike.

A celebration of Pat’s life will be held at a later date.
