Vera Brady

Vera Lee Brady, 96, of West Des Moines died on Sunday, November 4, 2007 at the Fountain West Care Center. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 9th at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines. Visitation will begin after 3 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Vera was born on June 10, 1911 in Seattle, Washington to Frank and Elberta Brady Milliard. She received her education at Drake University and the University of Colorado and had taught at Hubbel Public Schools and at Percy Hoak Public Schools. She retired from the Des Moines Public Schools in 1976 and was a member of the First Christian Church in Des Moines. Vera has no immediate survivors.
