Lashonda was born on August 3, 1984 to Richard and Christine Duncan in Des Moines, Iowa. Lashonda graduated from Lincoln High School in 2001. Throughout her years of employment Lashonda enjoyed working in the Customer Service field.
Lashonda enjoyed shopping, self-pampering, spending quality time with her daughter, going to the movies, bowling, attending outside events and enjoyed reminiscing on her childhood stories, especially her favorite story, “Pass me a cough drop.” (If you know, you know.)
Lashonda was greeted by our Lord at the Gates of Heaven on Sunday, June 23, 2024 and was preceded in death by her grandparents Idna Cooley, Douglas Cooley, Martha Duncan and Frank Henry.
Lashonda leaves to hold her dear memory her fiancé; Yen Yann, daughter; Saniyah, mother and father; Christine and Richard, sisters; Resina Duncan (Redd) and Lameka Duncan (Calvin), nieces and nephews; Trayvon (Monique), Cori, Corveil, TyAjah, Calvin III, Dijon, Jamiah, Asante and Demeko, and great-nieces and nephews; Kehlani, Keyommi, Trayvon Jr., Truu, Lola, Christine, Da’Zyaire and Da’Jour.
Lashonda brightened a whole room when she entered with her bubbly personality. Lashonda’s infectious laugh will be greatly missed.
