John Mark Reynolds, 54, passed away at 3:46 a.m. on April 20, 2016 at Mercy Hospital, Des Moines, IA, due to heart failure.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Max and Patricia Anne Reynolds; and his brother, James Michael. Survivors include his sister, Sheila Anne (Reynolds) Arney; and his two nephews and two nieces.
John was very giving of himself for others. He loved spending time outdoors and with any four footed friend. His interests included, gardening, landscaping, camping, fishing, and riding his bike all over the city. John especially loved baseball, but enjoyed all sports in general.
John was very kind-hearted and had a smile for all, especially those he could help. He will be greatly missed by many.
The family requests no memorials or fundraising events be held in his honor. John would want donations of any kind to be directed to any homeless facility to help others in need, or to the Humane Society.

Sheila, We were all shocked to hear about John. He has always been a close family friend since we were all small children growing up. We will miss his laugh, his smile and kind heart.
