Fidel Angel Polio Vasquez

Fidel Angel Polio Vasquez, 30, was born September 21, 1985 in San Miguel, El Salvador, the son of Bertha Lidia Vasquez and Fidel Angel Polio Avalo. He passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 4, 2016 at his home.

Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Amor Y Paz United Methodist Church, 3016 E. 13th Street in Des Moines. Visitation will follow at the church after the service until 8 p.m. Saturday. Fidel will be laid to rest at the Cemeterio General San Rafael Oriente in San Miguel, El Salvador.

Fidel loved listening to music and dancing. He also enjoyed watching soccer. Above all else, he cherished time spent with his sisters, family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Fidel is survived by his sister, Ismelda Avalos and Maria E. Nolasco; other loving relatives and many special friends.
