Service Details

Randy Dale, 57, died with dignity and grace on April 3, 2016 with his family by his side.

Randy loved unconditionally. He will always be remembered for his strong handshake, his warm smile that made his eyes twinkle, his friendly wink, his determination, his sense of humor, his encouraging words, and pulling you close so that he could hug and kiss you and say, “I Love You.”

He was a man of great faith. As his health began to decline 3 years ago, he cared more about his caregivers than himself...Altoona Nursing and Rehab staff and residents, Dr. Katrina Guest and the Pulmonary Team at The Iowa Clinic, HCI Care Services Metro Team, New Point Church family and especially his own family.

Randy was truly an inspiration and blessing to others.

He leaves behind his loving family, his wife, Teresa; his children, Emily Swales, Aaron Swales, Amanda (Bryan) Carter, Austin Dale; grandchildren, Delia Swales, Jaden Swales, Chance Swales, and Addilyn Carter; his sister, Valerie (Eric) Werth and their families; his brother, Bill (Jindra) Green and their family; his in-law family, Tony and Pat Terrones, Toni Reimers, Rita (Mark) Hines, Rae Berg, Vincent (Angie) Terrones, Susan (Russ) Kunze, Joe Terrones, Phil Terrones and their families; and his aunts, uncles and cousins. Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Louva (Toney) and Darrell Dale.

A special thank you to Iowa Lutheran ER, Iowa Methodist ER, ICU Trauma Team and Powell 5.
