Donald Wayne Davis, 73, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2016 at University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City.

Donald was born August 8, 1942 in Boone, Iowa to Glen and Wanda (Seymour) Davis.

He loved country music and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Donald had a great sense of humor and will be missed by all who knew him.

Donald is survived by his daughter, Laura Leuang; son-in-law, Long Leuang; grandsons, Dustin and Steven Leuang; granddaughters, Kasey and Keely Leuang; great-granddaughter, Raiyah Leuang; sisters, Glennis (Tiny), Glenna (Tootie), and Mary (Patty); and brothers, Willard Davis and Jim Brice.

He was preceded in death by his son, Steven Davis.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 8, also at Hamilton’s, with burial to follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
