Jennifer (or Jenny as I called her as a child) was my very best childhood friend and I spent nearly every Saturday night together having a sleepover.
We giggled about boys, braided our hair, painted our nails, went to the roller rink, the mall. The next morning swapped back to our respective houses at church, where we also attended Friday night youth group, lock-ins and performed charity work. We also worked at Rock River Christian Camp together, sneaking in swim time when the pool was empty of campers!
When we got older, we went for pizza and donuts, drove the main drag through town, and double dated. I had the privilege of being the maid of honor at her wedding to her cherished husband Lonnie.
Although we lost touch over the years, I still think so fondly of Jennifer and her family, especially her mom who made us countless dozens of cookies for sleepovers and let us borrow her makeup.
May Jenny rest in the arms of Jesus and I hope that her family can find peace in the memories she left behind.

Lonnie and family so sorry hear of Jenny's passing. I remember when we lived in the dorms just a couple rooms apart and Jenny was one of my fellow UD's student ambassadors. Jenny always had a smile.
My prayers to your family during this difficult time.

Our deepest sympathy for all of Jenny's family on their loss of a beautiful, loving person. We so fondly remember her as a wonderful friend to our daughter during the years of living in Clinton IA and as members of Clinton Church of Christ. Jenny will be missed but we find comfort knowing she now stands in the presence of Jesus.
