Sad to hear of Marshall's passing after seeing him at Mom's funeral. I do remember the good times I had with Marshall, Fred and Marilyn when we were all much younger and our families would get together.

Growing up as a young kid on the Southside of Des Moines I enjoyed watching Marshall and Fred playing Little League baseball. In the warm summer days growing up in Iowa playing baseball on the ball diamond by the fire station as I lived not far from there. Then on to Lincoln High to again get a chance to see you play baseball and football. Marshall, thank you for your service as a police officer who served the city of Des Moines as well as your brother Fred. Thank you so much for your service to this country and as a fellow U.S. Marine Semper Fidelis.
