Kimberly Rae Wiggins, 49, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016. She was born July 5, 1966 in Iowa City, Iowa to Edward Armstrong and Sandra Perez.

She enjoyed fishing and having cookouts. She also loved animals and would feed any animal she met. Kimberly was very generous and caring, and would take in anyone who needed a place to stay.

She is survived by her mother, Sandy Perez; father, Edward Armstrong; children, Sheila Armstrong, Derver Bankson, and Shanna Bankson; five grandchildren; sisters, Helen Lampman and Mary Beth Lawson; brother, Larry (Leanna) Armstrong, Sr.; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Kimberly was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street in Des Moines. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 16th followed by burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
