Jared Torrence

Jared Torrence, 88, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016 at his home in Berwick. Jared was born on February 2, 1928 to Leonard and Helen (Knapp) Torrence.

He enjoyed playing Facebook word games and going to baseball games.

Jared is survived by his sons, Jerry and Duane.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lenore; son, Ronald; and sister, Shirley McRavey.

Funeral services will take place at 11:30 am on Wednesday, March 9th, 2016, at Hickman Road Church of Christ, 5217 Hickman Road, Des Moines. Visitation will be from 10:30 am to 11:30 am prior to the funeral service. Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens immediately following services.
