Diane K. Dolph

Diane Kay Dolph, 74, passed away surrounded by her family Friday, March 4, 2016 at Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Diane was born August 18, 1941 in West Union, Iowa to Clarence and Maxine Wickham. She graduated from Postville High School. She married James Laurance McTee, Jr. on February 14, 1963 and they were blessed with three children. She later married Lloyd Dolph, Jr. and they lived in Reno, NV and Des Moines. She loved to sing and dance to old time country music, but above all, she treasured her family.

She is survived by her son, Steven McTee (Crystal); daughter, Julie McTee (Jessica); grandson, Sterling McTee; granddogs, Frieda and DiMaggio; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family, numerous friends, and her cat, Buddy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter, Angela Maxine McTee, and her sister, Barbara Jean Mick.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 Thursday, March 10, also at Hamilton’s, with burial at Glendale Cemetery.
