Kenneth A. Jensen, 91, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016. He was born on April 4, 1924 to Chris and Anna Jensen in Greenfield, Iowa.

Kenneth proudly served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed being outdoors doing yard work, gardening, and woodworking. Above all, he cherished his relationship with God and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Billie; children, Rosetta Harvey and Frank Jensen; 9 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; brother, Darrel Jensen; and Sister, Verla Elliott.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; and his daughter, Karen L. Brown.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street in Des Moines with visitation one hour prior to services. Burial will take place at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 9th at Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter.
