Esther (Sis) Hick Purdy, 72, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 2nd at Taylor House. She was born April 21, 1943, in Runnells, Iowa.
Esther is survived by her husband of 52 years, Carroll; step-sons, Mike (Micha) Purdy and Tony Purdy; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Doris (Fred) Dhabalt, Mary (Mickey) Robichaux, Ginny Hick, and Ella Mickle; brothers, Earl (Pam) Hick, Russ Hick, Marvin Hick, and Chris (Lila) Hick; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother; step-sons, Jim and Jody; and daughter, Brenda.

Can't believe we didn't even get a chance to say our farewells. Jaxson didn't even get the chance to meet the wonderful aunt you were. Fly high with aunt brenda, grandma and grandpa hick. we love you!! and will forever miss you!!
