Jon and I worked together at Soil and Water Conservation Society many years ago. We had many long "talks". When he was driving to see his Grandma he would call and I would keep him company on the trip up north. I so enjoyed his smile and optimism. I will miss him but I know he is in a better place. RIP, Jon.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Jon's family during this sad time. Jon and I were in the same class at Sunnydale. Jon had a great sense of humor, quick with a smile and a kind word or a funny story if you needed cheering up! Jon will be missed by all who had the priviledge of knowing him! The Sunnydale Class of 1987 will miss his presence when we gather next. The best reunion will be when we meet again in heaven.

I enjoyed having him help us with Pathfinders when he was a student at Sunnydale. My heartfelt condolences to his family.
"For the Lord Himself will descend from
heaven with a shout, with the voice of
an archangel, and with the trumpet of God.
And the dead in Christ will rise first.
Then we who are alive and remain shall be
caught up together with them in the clouds
to meet the Lord in the air.
And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
Therefore comfort one another with these words."
1 Thessalonians 4:16-18
