Scott A. Kirchoff, 48, of Des Moines passed away on Wednesday October 31, 2007. Scott will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday November 5 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home. 5400 SW 9th Street. The visitation will be held from 12 Noon until the memorial service on Monday.
Scott was born in Jefferson, IA on October 26, 1959 to Jon and Karen Kirchoff. Scott enjoyed woodworking, painting, remodeling and cars. He was the owner of Creations Remodeling and a self employed contractor. He loved his dog Smokey and cat Thumper. He loved spending time with his family and his grandchildren. Scott was a great friend to many people.
Scott is survived by his wife, Dawn; son, Ray (Michelle) Kirchoff; daughter Nicole (Tommy) Quesenberry; step-children, Ciji and Christopher Cook; father, Jon I. Kirchoff; sister Kristi (Jim) Dudlesten; brothers, Timothy, Jeff (Debbie) Kirchoff, and Paul Gordon; grandchildren, Shelby, Trenton, Gavin and Kaden; many other nieces, nephews and extended family. Scott is preceded in death by his mother, Karen; grandparents, LeRoy and Ardys Nelson, Lawrence and Lulu Kirchoff. Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
