I used to babysit Ryan. He was a curious, spirited, funny and bright young boy. One of my favorite memories of Ryan is of him dancing one New Year's Eve to "Bette Davis Eyes" as we listened to Casey Kasem's music countdown on the radio. He danced freely and joyously, without regard to his sister Jenni and I's giggles. Ryan was a dear friend to my baby brother John. John always regarded Ryan in the highest esteem, citing his cleverness, his kindness and his courage.
This is no sense in such a loss. There is only bewilderment and tears.
My heart is heavy for his beautiful wife and children. I am thinking of them, Del, Sharon and Jenni and sending peace and hope to their aching hearts.
