I knew Dennis in grade school, he was such a nice guy even in the 6th grade. I had not seen him since 6th grade and ran into him at HY VEE around 10 years ago and he came up to me and called me by my name. I could not get over the fact he remembered who I was.

I'm speechless. I just found out last night and wish I could have made the visitation. My heart goes out to the family!! You always knew where Denny was because his laugh would fill a room or even the factory at Ryko. LouAnn, Andi, and Josh, my heart goes out to you!!!

So sorry to hear of Denny's passing. My husband Bob and I got to know Denny through our PGR association. He was always fun to be around and will be missed. My husband passed away from cancer in late October so I know how hard these days are. Know that so many others are sharing your grief.

I knew Dennis as a friend to my older brothers Rick & Randy Bahl over 40 years ago when we were all teenagers on the Southside. He was a great guy, always with a smile on his face. I ran into him a couple of years ago at Indianola Bike Night and it was so great seeing him again. So sad to see he passed away. My condolences to his family. Dennis was a wonderful person.

We are so sorry to have lost our dear friend who was special to not only us but our two boys as well. At Ryko Denny was a worker that could always be counted on to work hard and get the project completed. Beyond that, Denny
was a friend to all.

So many have expressed such heartfelt sympathy, it shows the love and respect that we felt for Denny. The picture for Denny's obituary is perfect, his big smile and the slight wave of greeting and now good bye. But most of all, our hearts ache for LouAnn, Mary, the children and extended family. May God bless you and keep you.
