Anthony Shane Donnelly, 58, passed away Friday, January 15, 2016 at Taylor House Hospice.
Anthony was born October 16, 1957 in Hanibal, Missouri to Jessie and Constance Donnelly.
He is survived by his children, Temmera Donnelly, Nathaniel Rhem, and Tony Donnelly, Jr.; siblings, Jesse Donnelly, Kerry Donnelly, Charita Donnelly, and Beverly Puritt; nine grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Darvin Donnelly.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., with a memorial service at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.

Tony was such a good guy always cool mannered. He always tried to keep his grandchildren and even when he got sick he didn't want people to worry about him so he didn't complain. He'll sure be missed.. Rest in heaven Tony!!

We lived in the same neighborhood growing up and Tony was a couple of years older than me. It's been more than 30+ years since I've seen him, but I have fond memories of him. He was a nice person.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know it is hard to take comfort from the fact that Tony is no longer suffering. It is those that are left behind that will miss his presence in their lives. You are all in my prayers.
