Donald Beck

Donald Beck, 52, died October 4, 2007. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 10, 2007 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St.
Don was born March 23, 1955. He was most recently employed as a carpenter doing storm restorations in Florida during the 2004 and 2005 hurricane seasons. Chronic back pain and a large blood clot forced him to retire early. He spent the past two years caring for his mother and assisting his family and friends with small carpentry tasks. When he had time for himself and felt up to an outing, Don enjoyed spending a few hours fishing.
Don is survived by his mother, LaVonne Beck; a brother, Jim Beck; a sister, Ruth Ford; two nieces, one nephew and two honorary nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to suggest that memorial contributions be directed to the family in honor of Don.
