Michael Mayhugh, 58, was born November 25, 1957 and he passed away Friday, January 15, 2016.
He is survived by his siblings, Tanya (John) Harre, Paul (Leslie) Mayhugh, Jeff (Stacy) Mayhugh, and Abby (Ron) Benifiel as well as many nieces, nephews, other extended family members and friends. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Maria Seifert and Eldridge “Ben” Mayhugh.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway, West Des Moines.

Prayers are with the family. I loved Michael very much and am saddened by his passing. Wish I could have seen him more often and sorry I couldn't make the trip for the service.

To Mike's family, I offer my condolences. I have been Mike's neighbor for 3 years. He was an interesting but nice neighbor. He loved talking about his gardening. Mike, you will be deeply missed but I believe that you are in a peaceful place now.

Mike was my classmate at Central Dallas in Minburn, IA in junior high and high school. My memories of Mike are that he was very smart and that he could run very fast! He was extremely well liked by the entire class and he was a natural leader. May God's peace be with you Mike! And also with your family and friends!

I will miss all your calls and cleaning for you and doing the running around. But to your family, I want to say that I am deeply sorry for your loss. Mike was a great guy to me. He was the one of the first people I met here at Oakcrest.
