Betty Jean McMahon, 70, passed away at her home Wednesday, January 13, 2016.
Betty was born August 17, 1945 in Arkansas to Gordon and Imogene Holder. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School. Betty retired from American National Can after 30 years of service and was a union member. In her younger years, she and her husband Tom enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and gardening. More recently, Betty enjoyed cooking and reading.
Betty is survived by her loving husband, Tom McMahon; daughters, Stacie Langel and Liana Gust; step-children, Rob (Karen) McMahon, Julie McMahon and Tina McMahon; grandchildren, Jessica, Zach, Cole, Tim, Brooklyn, Dillon, Angel and Aryn; great-grandchildren, Jayce, Jensyn and Teagan; brothers, James (Diane) Holder and Rick Holder; and a host of extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2016 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. Betty will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery at a later date.

Betty was a fun loving person and brought a lot of joy in our lives, We will miss her very much. I remember our Friday shopping trips.
