Megan Sue Dean

Megan Sue Dean, 28, was born July 1, 1987, the daughter of Calvin and Karen Dean. She passed away unexpectedly on January 12, 2016, in West Des Moines.
Megan graduated from Johnston High School in 2005 and spent three years working at Qwest. She completed Master’s Commission, was an intern with Experience Church and worked the last four years at Wells Fargo. Megan enjoyed cooking and opened Tableside bakery business. Most of all, she loved the Lord and used the talents he gave her to help lead worship at Berean Assembly of God.
Megan is survived by her parents, Calvin and Karen Dean; brother, Brandon (Julia) Dean; nephew and nieces, Jonathan, Lydia and Bethany; maternal grandparents, Jean (Ted) Lund; uncles, Steve (Joann) Dean, Robert (Eileen) Wilson and their son, Ryan; a host of other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Alvin and Elsie Dean; and maternal grandfather, John Wilson.
The family will receive visitors Sunday, January 17 from 2 to 5 p.m., at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11a.m., Monday, January 18, 2016 at Berean Assembly of God, 5299 E. University in Pleasant Hill. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family to be designated at a later time.
