Very sad to hear Darrell has passed. I only knew him from the VA where I worked as a Shuttle Driver. I was always happy to see him and found him to be a very sincere and happy fellow. I helped Darrell get his military records and learned a lot about his military career in the process. He was one of a kind and will be missed. He always saluted and said "Permission to come aboard Sir!" God Bless you Darrell and "Thank you for your Service" Sailor!

Darrell and Ethel were great Simpson Church friends, and wonderful neighbors. Darrell and my Dad (Bob) shared many laughs.

Darrell always had a gift to give. Advice, something he made, knowledge, a joke, or the shirt off his back! We'll miss sitting around the campfire telling stories. Forever in our hearts!?

What a great man. A kind man. A honest man. To simply say he will be missed does not do him justice. He was a giving Father and a humble friend. A loving husband who is finally reunited for eternity. Well done Darrell..Well done.
