Linda Hendrixson

Linda Hendrixson, 52, was born March 30, 1963 in Des Moines, Iowa and passed away January 10, 2016.

Linda enjoyed the outdoors and nature, especially fishing and mushroom hunting. She loved flowers, little children and being around people. Linda always had a kind heart towards others and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Linda is survived by her mother, Nancy Erickson; daughter, Ciara Hendrixson; sister, Mary Hendrixson; aunts and uncles, Dr. Robin Rittgers, Nancy Rittgers, Rex Rittgers, Martha Rittgers, Ross Rittgers, John Rittgers, Sam Rittgers, Jacob Rittgers and Dixie Russell; soulmate and companion in life, Timothy Wood; other loving relatives and many special friends. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Norman Erickson and her sister, Debbie Erickson.

A visitation will start at 9 a.m., Monday, January 18, 2016 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave, Des Moines, with a graveside service to follow at 10 a.m., at Pine Hill Cemetery. Following the graveside, at 1pm there will be a luncheon at the Amvets Post 2, 2818 5th Street in Des Moines in honor of Linda.

In loving memory of Linda, memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
