Nancy Ann Olson

Nancy Ann Olson, 74, passed away January 9, 2016. Per her wishes, no services will be held at this time.

Nancy was born August 19, 1941 in Des Moines, IA to Floybelle Finchum and Donald Carson and raised by Mer and Leonard Alms. She was a graduate of Valley High School and worked in many different fields including President of Country Music Television and most recently as a Disaster Coordinator for FEMA. Nancy had a love for life and was never afraid to try new things. She was the President of CMT, loved animals, and loved most of all - spending time with her grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed by her son, Lex (Katie) Olson; her grandchildren, Arlo, Flyn and Greer Olson; brothers, Terry Redden, Paul “Kit” Carson, and Alan Carson; sister, Kathy Ulferts; and a host of nieces and nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and son, Lee Olson.
