Stephana Wolfe

Stephana M. Wolfe, 90, died on Friday, October 26, 2007 at Iowa Methodist Hospital. Visitation will be held 12-8 p.m. with family present from 6-8 p.m. Monday, October 29, 2007 at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th Street.
A private family burial will occur at Franklin Township Cemetery followed by a public memorial celebration at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31, 2007 the Mitchellville Community Center.
Stephana was born September 24, 1917 to Stephen and Helen Kiefer in Diagonal, Iowa. She was a long time resident of Mitchellville/Bondurant before moving to Des Moines. She retired from Parr Manufacturing as a bookkeeper and then continued working at Berean Assembly of God and was an active resident of Valley View Village
Stephana is survived by her children, Stephen Wolfe, Dorcas Wolfe, Russell (Marilyn) Wolfe, Bruce (Susan) Wolfe, and Sara (Tim) Roland; 12 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and sister, Marybeth Merkel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert H. Wolfe; daughter, Sonya Bailey; grandchildren, Jonathan, Brent, and Shane; and great-grandchildren, Allison and Nathan.
Memorial contributions may be given to Iowa Hospice.
