Darlene has been a good friend of mine for a very long time. My mother and I thought a lot of Darlene and had a lot of respect for her. May the good Lord bless and keep her.

I can't think of Darlene without remembering her smile. She cherished her family, and the enormous amount of love and support she so freely shared with her children and grandchildren has helped shape some beautiful people.
I am thankful for God's tender mercies and knowing that Darlene is now part of each beautiful morning sunrise....

Darlene was one of the sweetest persons I have met in my life. Her smile and laugh were inspiring. She will be missed by so many. My thoughts and prayers go out to you, her family, as well as the many people whose lives she touched and are missing her today.

Darlene was one of my biggest supporters when I made the decision to become a nurse. She always asked me about school and how I was doing once I got into the "real world". I share many of her stories with the students I work with now. I will miss Darlene and her laugh. She was a wonderful woman. Maggie Peterson (Ken Peterson's daughter)

Its hard to believe Darlene is gone. I will miss her. She has always made me feel really important to her and I suspect she made all her friends feel the same way. I loved her sense of humor and she had that rare ability to laugh at herself and enjoyed a good joke. I don't think I saw her without a smile on her face. At least that is the way I will always remember her.
