James Dale Robinson, 54, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2016 due to heart failure at his home in Clive.
Jim was born January 23, 1961 in Des Moines, Iowa to Clarence and Rosetta Robinson. He graduated from Ruby Van Meter School. He loved going to church every Sunday followed by family lunch. Jim was a sports fan, but especially enjoyed basketball. He was happy to cheer on any team.
Jim is survived by his mother, Rosetta, his siblings, David Robinson and Steven (Nikki) Robinson, and his aunt, Alice Smith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence and his sister, Martha Jane Robinson.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m., with funeral service at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery.

My condolences to the Robinson family. Jimmy worked everyday at our office in the federal building and did a great job. He was always respectful and friendly. He will be missed. May God comfort the Robinson family during their grieving. Rest in peace Jimmy

Jim cleaned our office every day. He didn't talk much, but we very much appreciated his work. We will miss him. Rest in Peace Jim.
