Robert Schock, 65, passed away on January 4, 2016, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. He was born in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, on June 23, 1950, to John and Leona Schock.
Robert loved his wife, Teresa, whom he was married to for 34 years. He enjoyed traveling and being with his family.
Robert is survived by his son, Michael. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Teresa Schock.
A memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 10, 2016, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines.

I met Bob in high school and we remained friends for many years. We had great adventures together. I was saddened to hear the news.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I wish I could be there today. Bob was a good man. I will always remember his great sense of humor. At least it can provide you comfort that he will no longer be in pain and he can be with Terry now.

I, along with Paula and our children, will miss Bob very much, as we have missed Terry, his wife and my sister, these past years. Finally, they will be reunited. Rest in peace.

Bob was such a loving and caring man to his family and such a great friend to me.
In the last few years as we both experienced some hard times he became more family than friend.
I will miss him greatly!
