Mary Rosalie "Rose" Thrane

Mary Rosalie “Rose” Thrane, 72, passed away Friday, January 1, 2016 at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines. Visitation will begin at 3:30 pm, with funeral service at 5:30 pm, Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.

Rose was born September 9, 1943 in Bergoo, West Virginia to Theodore and Virgie Baldwin Hamrick. She is survived by her daughters, Teressa (David Scott) Edwards and Loretta Thrane; brothers, Dale, Don, and Delbert Hamrick; sisters, Della Wilder and Gathel Davis; grandchildren, Heather, Kelsey, Allison, Elizabeth, Nicholas, Anna, Abigail, and Angela; and great-grandchildren, Andrew, Brooke, Courtney, Mollie, Samuel, and Tucker.
