Allen Ramirez

Allen Ramirez, age 6, was given his angel wings on Thursday, December 31, 2015. He passed away at Blank Children’s Hospital after a very brief illness.

Allen was born April 9, 2009 to Omar and Zilma Ramirez. He was a happy little boy who never stopped smiling. Allen attended first grade at Moulton Elementary School in Des Moines. He loved going to school and seeing all his teachers and friends there. Allen enjoyed watching movie, coloring, and anything having to do with Mickey Mouse. He loved being outside and anytime is was time to leave, he was always ready with his shoes and jacket. His unexpected passing has left a hole in his family’s heart, but they knew they had to let him go, so that he could rest in peace.

He will be missed every day and loved forever by his mommy and daddy, Vilma and Omar Ramirez; his siblings, Xavier, Cristhian, Nicolas, and Yamileth; his grandparents, Maria and Nicholas Ramirez; his uncles, Edgar and Carlos Ramirez; his aunts, Marisol Ramirez and Angelica Martinez; and his cousins, Carlos, Stefany, Jaqueline, Josaline, and Mateo.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 7th at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral services will begin at 2:30 p.m., Friday, January 8th, also at Hamilton’s.
