Brittni Elliott Chambers
December 30, 2015
Brittni Elliott Chambers was born in Des Moines, October 6, 1989, and died unexpectedly December 30, 2015.
Brittni graduated from South East Polk High School in 2008. She worked as a phlebotomist at Mercy Medical Center for the last 6 years. Brittni was a skilled phlebotomist who treated all of her patients with cheerful kindness, and respect. She loved to crochet, and would often crochet hats for the newborns in the hospital. In her downtime, she would often play with children on the pediatric wing.
Brittni was artistic, creative, and a bit of a tomboy. She had a free spirit and a strong will. Brittni’s sense of humor, smile and laugh were infectious. She loved babies, children, and animals. Brittni’s two sons were everything to her, and she cherished spending time with them. She made every effort to make sure that they experienced all of the joys and adventures of life. She would routinely take them fishing, hunting for mushrooms, bicycle riding, or just on simple trips to the park. The boys were regularly involved in crafting homemade gifts for family, and everything was always made from the heart with love.
She is survived by two sons, Kenryk Douglas Elliott, and Paxton Elliott Chambers, and their step-daddy/daddy, Jake Chambers. Also surviving, are her parents, Doug and Dee Elliott, sister, Kelsi Elliott, grandparents, Verna and Rich Grieve, Myrna Grubaugh, and Gene and Linda Sondag, She also leaves behind cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends that will forever be a part of her family. Brittni was preceded in death by her infant son, Kamdyn Chambers.
Though her life was cut short, she will be remembered warmly by those who knew and loved her. Rest in peace ' Sweet Child of Mine'.
Family will greet friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2016 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, with a memorial to service to follow at 7 p.m.
Contributions for Kenryk and Paxton can be made to Brittni Chambers Memorial Fund, Community Choice Credit Union, Atloona, IA.

Though I only knew Britt for a short time, I thought she was a wonderful person. Smart, pretty, nice and most of all loved her boys. Wish the family all the best during these difficult times.
