Ruth I. Bell

Ruth I. Bell, 72, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

Ruth was born March 22, 1943 in Winterset, Iowa, to Lawrence and Josephine (Smith) Countryman.

She worked as a baker for both Barbara’s Bake Shop and Younkers Food Service and she enjoyed doing puzzles and reading.

Ruth is survived by her sister, Verna Hill of Alabama, four nephews, and one niece.
