Marion Katherine Calloway

Marion Calloway, 78, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2015. She was born May 9, 1937 to William and Merril Purdy in Des Moines, Iowa.
Marion was a sweet and kind loving woman who never knew a stranger. She enjoyed shopping, especially at second-hand stores. Marion loved spoiling her daughter and enjoyed decorating for all holidays, everything was always done up to a tee.
She is survived by her daughter, Ronda (Duane) Shiner; son, John H. Diedrich; brothers, Carol and Jim Purdy; sister, Jean Hutchinson; and many extended family and friends.
Family is abiding by Marion’s wishes for no services to be held.

A comforting scripture can be found at Revelation 21:4, which reads: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." This is a true hope we have for the future. I hope you can find comfort in the scriptures at this difficult time.
