Beatrice Sohn

Beatrice A. Sohn, 64, born in Des Moines, Iowa on September 22, 1943, died at the Kavanagh House on October 26, 2007. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Jerry Sohn and her sister, Donna Harvey, both of Des Moines. Beatrice had two children, Allen Sohn and Lori McWilliams. She also had three grandchildren, Christina Sohn-Sibouih (Hicham), Alicia Thomas (Dave) and Mitch McWilliams; as well as two great-granddaughters Erin and Erika Thomas; and many nieces and nephews. She worked for over twenty years with two bread companies, Old Home and Dolly Madison and worked at Dahl’s grocery store for many years. She is preceded in death by her sisters Celia Poe and LaVonna Barton and one brother William Hamilton. Beatrice will be forever missed.
Vistation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 1, 2007 at Hamilton’s Southtown.
