Barbara Allen, 80, died peacefully on Friday, December 18, 2015 at Mercy Hospice House in Johnston. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Pine Hill Cemetery.

Barbara was born April 28, 1935 in Des Moines, Iowa. She was a homemaker proudly raising her three children. Barbara loved to sew, cook, spend time with her kitties, and listening to Elvis music.

Barbara is survived by her son, Collin (Julie Hanifen) Allen; daughter, Ronda (Bill) Davis; grandchildren Heidi (Anthony) Lucia and Heather (Josh) Saboe; two beautiful great-granddaughters, Mia and Haven she loved dearly; brother, Fred Meyret; and sister, Donna Brand.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Larry; and son, Mark Allen, Sr.
