Darrell Jackson, Jr., (Junie Jack) 43, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. He was born January 5, 1972 to Donella and Darrell Jackson, Sr. in Des Moines, Iowa.

Darrell had a sense of humor that allowed him to make everyone laugh and heal the wounds of those hurting. He was famous for his distinct laugh and known for making friends and giving them nicknames. In his younger years he enjoyed gaming, riding and fixing bicycles, skateboarding, and had a passion for cooking.

Those left to cherish his memory include his fiancée of 16 years, Christina Gale; siblings, Don Terrill (Brenda) Calaway, Norman Calaway, Dara (John) Jackson, Montique Jackson; two nieces; six nephews; step sister, Claudia Calaway.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Celebration of Life will be held at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Revival Center Church of God in Christ, 3816 36th Street in Des Moines.
