Alfredo Avila Galvez, 52, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2015. He was born September 4, 1963 in Villanueva, Zacatecas.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Maria “Ema” Avila; and daughter, Socorro (David) Burgos; parents, Alberto and Maria Avila Galvez; brothers, Samuel, Martin, Angel, and Merced Avila Galvez; sister, Antonia Avila Galvez; and many extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jose Cruz and Ignacio Avila Galvez.

The family will greet friends Thursday, December 17, 2015 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 p.m., Friday, December 18, 2015 at Our Lady of the Americas Catholic Church, 1271 E 9th Street.
