Delores Goulden

Delores Mary Goulden was born December 28, 1929 in Des Moines to Earl and Lucille (McGee) Barrett. She passed away December 15, 2015 at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Indianola at the age of 85.

Delores was a lifelong resident of the Des Moines area and was a proud graduate of East High School. She enjoyed bowling, playing bingo, trips to Las Vegas and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Rick Goulden; daughter, Linda (Jim) Milligan; grandchildren, Rob (Jenny) Milligan, Mindy Milligan, Shelley Milligan and Kayleena Goulden; great-grandchildren, Gabi and Lexi; and a host of extended family and friends.

Delores was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leo and son, Dan.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, December 18, 2015 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street followed by burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
