Bill was a wonderful neighbor who had seen a lot in his life. He was a World War II veteran, parent and grandparent of children who died of cystic fibrosis, and, somehow, a survivor of it all. He was always the first to come up with a clever quip or harmless joke. He was a hard worker well into his 70s, and he adored his wife and children. We will remember Bill's friendly and upbeat disposition.
