Some of my fondest memories as a young boy was opening day of pheasant season at pop's and uncle Leonard's farms - Garvin was always there joking and having fun. He will be part of those great memories for me always. Sorry for your loss.

Though I did not know Gar beyond occasionally playing racquetball with him at Oakmoor, I can say that he was a really nice guy. I'm glad to have met him and am sorry for your loss.

I want to enter a separate condolence from my wife Cathy. Garr was a salesman with me at Eagle Sign and was a true team player. Garr was also a good friend and a very competitive racquetball foe and partner. For being a big man, he could move pretty fast. One game I remember I had Garr down 14-0 and was talking smack. He advised me not to do that. He beat me 15-14! The guy never gave up! He was a good man and a good friend. My condolences to all of Garr's family.
