Darlene Wolfe, 93, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2015. She was born on December 3, 1921 in Des Moines, Iowa.
Darlene’s hobbies included arts and crafts, crocheting, and her shopping trips to Walmart. Most importantly, she loved spending time with family, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Darlene is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Lampman; sons, Ron Wolfe and Randy Wolfe, Sr.; 15 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; and sisters, Rose, Nancy, and Frances.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Freel and Eldora Disco; son, Gary Wolfe; brothers, Rich, Robert, and Norman; and sister, Gretchen.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m., with funeral service to begin at 2:30 p.m., Monday, November 23, 2015 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery.

Grandma wolfe u were such an amazing strong woman. I remember when my dad and I would stop by and bring u moral mushrooms every year when I was younger. U were always there for ur family and friends and had a big heart. I can't believe ur gone. I love and miss u soo much.
