Jerry Pottorff, 71, passed away at his home Monday, November 16, 2015.
Jerry was born December 14, 1943 in Grant City, Missouri to Ivan and Maxine Pottorff. He retired from the advertising industry. Jerry attended Glad Tidings
Assembly of God Church. He was an accomplished artist. Some of his best work was inspired by the photos from the Hubble Space Telescope. Jerry will be remembered as a kind, compassionate, caring and giving man.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Sherey; sister, Jean (Jerry) Barker; nephew, Darrel (Diann) Barker; niece, Karmen (Dave) Smith; great-nephews, Zachary Parker and Bradyn Smith; and his great-niece, Lindsay Smith.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, 314 E. Army Post Road.

Dear Sherey,

Jean, Jerry and other relatives and friends. Haven't seen Jerry since high school days but remember him as a quiet young man. Joining other family & friends with condolences for the entire family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. He is at peace and whole now.

Jerry was always available to his many friends. He had a kind, caring and sensitive way of helping one walk through some rough times they were facing. His love for painting was evident in the wonderful art he painted.
He will be sorely missed.
